The Saturday Artisan Market will run the first and third Saturdays of each month throughout the summer at Canalside. Our hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Rain or Shine.
The dates for the Saturday Artisan Market 2013 are:

- July 6
- July 20
- August 3
- August 17
- September 7
- September 21 – Season Finale!
The Saturday Artisan Market (SAM) will take place at Canalside, located on Prime Street in the city of Buffalo, New York across from the site of the former Aud. Canalside is across from the Naval Museum and down the street from First Niagara Center.
There is plenty of parking on the street and in lots across the street.
The Saturday Artisan Market was created to provide an affordable venue for artists to display their work and bring the community together to experience local art.

Julie Leatherbarrow: The Saturday Artisan Market has been a dream of Julie’s since moving back to Buffalo in 2004. As a glass artist who has traveled the country participating in music festivals and art shows, Julie has seen how cities have used their natural landscape to support local artists. Robin Lenhard: When Robin heard that Julie was starting an Artisan Market, she quickly offered her assistance. With more than 25 years experience in marketing, promotion and special events, Robin currently sits on the board for Artists in Buffalo and is herself a working artist who has participated in area events for more than a decade. Dan Mitchell: Dan is a local author and carver, as well as a personal trainer. As a small business owner, Dan brings the experience of how to run a successful business.
